Risk Management, Certificate

Business, Financial, Management, Strategy

Learn how to manage risks often encountered in the modern and increasingly risky business environment that can negatively impact a firm's financial performance.

Program description

In the certificate program in risk management, students acquire a solid foundation in the theory and practice of modern risk management.

The concept of enterprise risk management is highlighted at the onset of the curriculum, emphasizing that risks and risk management strategies must be considered holistically at the firm level, not in isolation. Emphasis is placed on identifying, measuring, communicating and managing a variety of risks.

Upon completion of the certificate, students are able to identify and measure a variety of business and financial risks, and design and articulate strategies for managing and communicating risks.

3 year programs

These programs allow students to fast-track their studies after admission and earn a bachelor's degree in three years or fewer while participating in the same high-quality educational experience of a 4-year option. Students should talk to their academic advisor to get started.

Accelerated master's

These programs allow students to accelerate their studies to earn a bachelor's plus a master's degree in as few as five years (for some programs).
