In health care, details matter. As a student in the nation's first undergraduate accredited health care compliance and regulations program, you can learn to ensure safe, ethical care by identifying, assessing and managing compliance risks across health care settings.
The Bachelor of Science program in health care compliance and regulations is an undergraduate degree program dedicated training to to be a compliance professional. You are offered the opportunity to learn best practices from a broad array of industry experts (providers, regulatory agencies, government payers and others) within the health care industry, giving you options to pursue various careers in health care compliance.
This program is ideal if you are interested in the ethical, regulatory and business sides of the health care industry. Program highlights include:

Program learning outcomes identify what a student will learn or be able to do upon completion of their program. This program’s learning outcomes include the following:
- Differentiate the Seven Essential Elements of an Effective Compliance Program overseen by the Office of Inspector General (OIG).
- Examine health care and medical credentialling in relation to the scope of practice.
- Justify the ethical and legal reasons health care organizations may need a compliance program.
- Apply individual selected compliance plan elements to develop a corrective action plan to prevent causes of non-conformities.
Students gain valuable experience when studying abroad, experience that enhances their resumes. With more than 300 Global Education programs available to them, students can tailor their experience to their interests and skill sets. Students majoring in health care compliance and regulation can learn about other global health care systems and how they are regulated.
Graduates who possess the heightened cultural competency, leadership and critical-thinking skills they acquired when studying abroad may stand out in a competitive field.

Program term definitions
Accelerated programs allow students the opportunity to expedite the completion of their degree.
Accelerated master's
These programs allow students to accelerate their studies to earn a bachelor's plus a master's degree in as few as five years (for some programs).
Each program has requirements students must meet to be eligible for consideration. Students typically receive approval to pursue the accelerated master's during the junior year of their bachelor's degree program. Interested students can learn about eligibility requirements and how to apply.
Concurrent degrees allow students to pursue their own personal or professional interests, earn two distinct degrees and receive two diplomas. To add a concurrent degree to your existing degree, work with your academic advisor.
Joint programs, or jointly conferred degrees, are offered by more than one college and provide opportunities for students to take advantage of the academic strengths of two academic units. Upon graduation, students are awarded one degree and one diploma conferred by two colleges.
