Major Requirements
A minimum of 12 upper-division credit hours used toward the major requirements must be taken from The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. When selecting courses, the college offering the course can be identified by viewing the course details in the class search.
This degree program is intended for students who are already proficient in the language selected to study. Students begin their language coursework at the 300 level and speak with an advisor in the School of International Letters and Cultures about language proficiency and language placement testing.
The language selected by the student must be one offered by the School of International Letters and Cultures. Please see an academic advisor in SILC for approval of the language as well as the program of study which is tailored for individual students.
