Students must select 15 credit hours of creativity, communication, or culture electives from this list of prefixes, based on their professional or career interests. Students are encouraged to use their electives coherently, e.g., to improve their creative capabilities, their communication skills, or a particular area of language and culture in which they are interested in working professionally. Students are encouraged to discuss their elective plans with the program director or a faculty member in the program. Students cannot use the same courses to satisfy both the Creativity, Communication, and Culture Electives requirement and the Related Area Electives requirement.
