However, it is strongly recommended that all online Forensic Science BS students participate in the forensics residency experience, FOR 494 Fundamental Skills in Forensic Science.
  • FOR 494 Fundamentals of Forensic Science requires an immersive, 2-week residency in the crime scene lab and other labs at ASU's West Valley campus in Glendale, AZ.
  • Alternatively, students may seek a local internship (FOR 484). Forensic Science internships are not guaranteed. Forensic science internships are competitive and the application process takes time. All internships require prior faculty approval. Please contact your academic advisor for questions.
