The six tracks are Asia in a Global World (intended for generalists who do not wish to focus on one particular country or region) and China, Japan, Korea, Southeast Asia, and South Asia (intended for those who wish to specialize). Students wishing to specialize should complete at least 12 credit hours from the chosen track.
  • Credit hours for second language courses will vary depending on the language chosen. Students taking language courses worth 5 credits will not need as many elective hours.
  • Choosing a Social-Behavioral Sciences (SB) course that also satisfies the Cultural Diversity (C) requirement is recommended.
