This degree program is only for students who have earned at least 32
graded hours at ASU, who have a cumulative gpa of 3.25, and whose study
interests are not met by an already-existing major offered by Arizona
State University. Students who meet the above qualifications and
who have faculty mentors in their areas of interest are invited to meet
with the Office of Student and Academic Programs to discuss the
possibility of being allowed to pursue this opportunity. Please call

* Completion of a language course at the intermediate level (202 or equivalent), including American Sign Language IV.
ASU 101 or college-specific equivalent First-Year Seminar required of all freshman students
ASU Language Placement: Only true beginners are eligible for 101-level courses. All other students are required to take a placement exam, regardless of prior credit earned.
