- Select Advanced Philosophy Course from the list at bottom of map. PHI 420 is a topical course that can be taken for credit more than once, so long as the topics are different. Students may complete one topic of PHI 420 to satisfy the PHI 420 requirement in Term 7 and a different topic of PHI 420 to satisfy the Advanced Philosophy Course requirement in Term 8. A single PHI 420 course will not satisfy both requirements at once. PHI 403 is a course option for both the History of Philosophy requirement and the Advanced Philosophy Course requirement.
