  • ASU 101 or college-specific equivalent First-Year Seminar required of all first-year students.
  • Direct admit students must meet Continuing Eligibility Criteria (CEC) each semester (Terms 1-4) to advance into the prelicensure clinical nursing program. The following criteria will be reviewed each semester:
  • Full-time enrollment at ASU (minimum 12 credit hours per term)
  • Enroll in courses following the published course sequence (according to term) on the major map in terms 1-4.
  • All courses must be completed at ASU unless approved by petition
  • 3.50 minimum semester critical (prerequisite) courses GPA in term 1-4 (includes +/- in computation) with no grades lower than a C. Critical courses are marked with symbol on the major map. Electives and other general studies courses that are not marked with this symbol are not included in the calculation.
  • Successful completion of all screening items by the established deadlines.
