W. P. Carey's supply chain management program is consistently ranked as one of the top supply chain programs in the world. With this cachet, you'll have the opportunity to be recruited by any of the many leading international companies in many different industries.

Program description

Supply chain managers play a crucial role in coordinating the seamless flow of goods and services, from raw material procurement to the delivery of final products to consumers. In today's globalized marketplace, where supply chains span multiple vendors and geographical regions, effective supply chain management is essential for ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency and customer satisfaction.

The Bachelor of Science program in supply chain management offers you a comprehensive understanding of integrated supply chain management principles and practices. Rooted in theoretical frameworks and practical applications, the curriculum encompasses a wide variety of topics, including:

  • execution systems
  • logistics
  • negotiations
  • operations management
  • planning
  • procurement
  • strategy development

By integrating these topics with quantitative methodologies such as statistical modeling, data warehousing, data mining, programming, forecasting, operations research techniques, optimization, stochastic modeling, operations analysis, and design and prototyping, you gain a comprehensive understanding of how to leverage data-driven insights. You also acquire advanced analytical tools to optimize supply chain performance and drive strategic decision-making.

Classes are kept small to foster a collaborative learning environment, enabling you to engage actively with faculty and peers. Through hands-on projects and practical case studies, you have the opportunity to apply theoretical concepts to practical scenarios, bringing the material to life and gaining valuable insights into industry best practices.

Program term definitions

Accelerated programs allow students the opportunity to expedite the completion of their degree.

Accelerated master's

These programs allow students to accelerate their studies to earn a bachelor's plus a master's degree in as few as five years (for some programs).

Each program has requirements students must meet to be eligible for consideration. Students typically receive approval to pursue the accelerated master's during the junior year of their bachelor's degree program. Interested students can learn about eligibility requirements and how to apply.

Concurrent degrees allow students to pursue their own personal or professional interests, earn two distinct degrees and receive two diplomas. To add a concurrent degree to your existing degree, work with your academic advisor.

Joint programs, or jointly conferred degrees, are offered by more than one college and provide opportunities for students to take advantage of the academic strengths of two academic units. Upon graduation, students are awarded one degree and one diploma conferred by two colleges.

ASU adds new programs to Degree Search frequently. Come back often and look for the "New Programs" option.
