Global education programs help students dive deeper into their studies by providing the opportunity to experience many cultures firsthand and to explore places where history and military action have intermingled. Students are able to use these encounters to discover the interconnections of ideas and places at primary source sites.
Graduates are ready to enter roles supporting public policy development and political activism, roles in the military, and leadership roles in military- and veteran-serving organizations.
Graduates are well-prepared for employment in:
- federal agencies across the U.S. and worldwide, such as with the Department of Defense and the Bureau of Veterans Affairs
- the government sector in Arizona and other states
- health care-related organizations serving veteran populations
- nonprofit organizations around the U.S. dedicated to supporting military-connected individuals and veterans
Example job titles and salaries listed below are not necessarily entry level, and students should take into consideration how years of experience and geographical location may affect pay scales. Some jobs also may require advanced degrees, certifications or state-specific licensure.
