The field of project management is growing rapidly. Learn to apply key concepts, such as budgeting, scheduling and risk management, that will enable you to oversee complex projects from inception to successful completion.
Students in the Master of Project Management program learn to plan and execute complex projects by practicing important skills, including procurement management, scope management and stakeholder management. Students gain advanced knowledge in leadership, conflict resolution and collaboration while experimenting with emerging technologies and acquiring hands-on experience managing projects in a project management office setting.

Applicants must fulfill the requirements of both the Graduate College and the College of Integrative Sciences and Arts.
Applicants must have earned a bachelor's or master's degree in any area from a regionally accredited institution.
Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 (scale is 4.00 = "A") in the last 60 hours of their first bachelor's degree program or a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 (scale is 4.00 = "A") in an applicable master's degree program.

Additional Application Information
An applicant whose native language is not English must provide proof of English proficiency regardless of their current residency. For proof of English proficiency, the applicant is expected to have either a score of 80 on the TOEFL iBT® taken in a testing center or a passing score in the English for Graduate Admission online course through ASU Global Launch.
All applicants must submit a written letter of intent, including a detailed statement of purpose that addresses how the program goals coincide with the student's personal and professional objectives. The essay is evaluated based on content, presentation and evidence of graduate-level writing ability (the limit is 500 words).
The professional resume or curriculum vitae is limited to two pages.
Applicants must submit two letters of reference that focus on the applicant's ability to do academic work. Friends and family members are not appropriate recommenders.
All applications are reviewed holistically, taking into account all application materials, including previous GPA, letters of recommendation, personal statement and work experience. Note that meeting any single requirement does not guarantee admission.

Graduates can employ project management approaches, processes, structures and techniques, effectively contributing to development and deployment of project management methodologies that achieve organizational goals, solve problems and effect change around the globe. They are prepared for a variety of positions in the public, private and nonprofit sectors.
Graduates are prepared for jobs as project coordinators, assistant project managers, project managers, program managers and directors of project management.
ASU programs that may lead to professional licensure or certification are intended to prepare students for potential licensure or certification in Arizona. By completing this degree, graduates have the educational knowledge and content hours to sit for the Project Management Institute's Project Management Professional® exam.

Accelerated master's
These programs allow students to accelerate their studies to earn a bachelor's plus a master's degree in as few as five years (for some programs).
